A Walk Down Wedding Lane: Becca and Matt's Rehearsal Dinner

Well last week was officially my worst week of blogging EVER.  However, there are several excuses for this.  For starters I was extremely busy selling produce.  With Thanksgiving coming up everyone needs their potatoes and I have gladly been selling them:)  Also, I was recovering from a crazy bachelorette party and getting ready for a major out of town wedding.  On top of it all and the biggest reason, I finally got a new computer.  I will now be working and blogging from the same amazing new computer and it took some getting used to and setting up whenever I had a free minute.  This is going to make my life much easier and I am really looking forward to it.  So without further ado here is my recap on the incredible weekend.  Also, I promise to share the bachelorette party VERY soon.

Becca and Matt's wedding weekend is one I have been looking forward to for the longest time.  David and I are connected to Becca and Matt in so many ways.  David and Becca grew up together in St. Louis and they went to Indiana University together, and I studied abroad with Becca in Florence.  Matt and I  have been friends since first grade, and all four of us now live near by in Chicago.  This wedding brought together so many people all connected in different ways.  It was so great to see everyone and celebrate their marriage together.

If you are ever wondering why my friends always have elaborate engagements, well the main reason is Matt set the bar pretty high when he proposed to Becca.  He proposed to her on "Good Morning America": 'GMA' Love Live: Chicago Man Proposes on Live TV | Video - ABC News

So yeah, we knew going in to it this was going to be one hell of a wedding, and that it was.  To start out with I will just share some details about the rehearsal dinner.  Becca looked AMAZING and everyone could tell love was in the air.  Since Becca had nineteen bridesmaids (I am not the only one!) everyone was expecting speeches that went on for days.  I was impressed because everyone grouped up and even though there were several speeches, I really never felt like there were too many!

Matt's parents decorated so well and had a wall lined with candles and pictures from other family members weddings.  It was such a special night.
